What's The Pointe

Glasgow's non-profit dance troupe

WTP is a dedicated community of dancers from Glasgow, committed to raising funds for worthy causes through bi-annual showcases. Our directors and choreography team volunteer all year round, to plan, organise and bring our shows to life- but it’s our amazing dancers who work so hard, giving up their Sunday afternoons to raise funds for those in need, who are the real superstars!

Our Mission

Creating community

Our focus is to create an inclusive, supportive community where children and young people of all ages and abilities feel safe, accepted, and free to be themselves. We provide a space where real friendships can grow naturally, and every child is encouraged to express themselves, have fun, and feel seen. By fostering trust and connection, we’re building a strong support system where children can uplift one another.

Charitable Impact

At WTP, charity is at the heart of everything we do. It’s not just part of our mission — it is the mission. For every performance, 100% of profits are donated directly to our selected charity. Giving back is the foundation of our work, and through each show, we aim to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Raising Kindness

Helping children understand the value of compassion begins with encouraging them to support those in need. We aim to show them how meaningful and rewarding it can be to devote their time and energy to helping others. Through learning about our partnered charities, children gain a deeper understanding of important causes, and how they can make a difference.
